J. Abe Mantle
Principal/Senior Forester
Mr. Mantle has 30+ years of experience in forestry, with 25+ years focused on timber cruising and appraisal services. He is a state certified real estate appraiser in Oregon and Washington. He also obtains temporary practice permits in California, Idaho, and other western states.
He has a B.S. in Forest Resource Management along with Graduate Studies toward a MBA from Oregon State University. Mr. Mantle holds the Registered Professional Forester (RPF) designation from the State of California.
Martin John Healy Jr.
Senior Appraiser/Advisor
Mr. Healy received his bachelor’s degree in agricultural management from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 1980. He further received his MBA in finance from The University of Southern California (1985).
Mr. Healy is a state certified real estate appraiser in Oregon and Washington. He also obtains temporary practice permits for timberland valuation assignments in Alaska, Arizona, California, and Idaho.
He has published numerous articles in The Appraisal Journal as well as in the Journal of Forestry.
He also serves as an advisory board member of the Natural Resources Management and Environmental Sciences Department at California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo.
Charles Barber
Charles Barber started with The Healy Company in 2002 as a Principal/Senior Forester.
Unfortunately in 2015, Mr. Barber passed away. He is remembered as a wonderful friend and business partner to Mr. Healy. We strive to maintain his legacy by producing quality work to all of our clients.
