Since 1992, The Healy Company has been specializing in large timberland consulting and valuations primarily in the Western US and Canada

Martin Healy began appraising in 1985 after completing his MBA in finance at the University of Southern California. While attending school, he worked with his father acquiring real estate in southern California.

After graduating from USC in 1985, Mr. Healy relocated to Oregon and started his appraisal career with Branan & Associates in Beaverton, Oregon.

The Healy Company was initially formed in 1992 as a sole proprietorship focusing solely on timberland valuations and financial consulting services.

The company was initially affiliated with Atterbury Consultants, Inc.  Martin Healy was the Senior Appraiser for Atterbury until 2002.

The Healy Company, LLP was established in 2002 with Martin Healy, and Charles Barber, as the two founding partners. Mr. Barber passed away in 2016.

In 2014 Mr. J. Abe Mantle joined the firm as a Senior Forester, bringing over 20 years of experience to the team.

In June 2023, ownership of the firm transitioned to Mr. Mantle. Mr. Mantle intends to carry on the firm’s tradition of providing excellence to our clients for many years to come. Martin Healy remains on staff as Senior Appraiser as well as an advisor to the firm and to our many clients.
